H A W A I I - Day 6 & 7

PEARL DIGGIN'

Wes thought I needed a pearl necklace as a momento from our trip
(isn't he sweet?...I'm a lucky girl)
So I got to choose from gorgeous pearls just the one I wanted and I even got to pick earrings to match...he really spoiled me.

So Samuel got to choose and oyster from a bucket and then we got to keep the pearl.

Here is the three of us just before she opened up our oyster to reveal our pearl.

She cut that thing open in nothing flat...I guess she has had a lot of practice.

The oyster Samuel picked had a gray pearl, which she said were not very common...way to go son! We had that pearl made into a necklace too, just so I could wear the pearl my son picked for me ;)

The Luau
Our Last Night

Check out my new pearl necklace :)
(thanks honey!)

Cookie & Me
John (Cookie's husband) and his silly shark hat, he is quite the character.

Hula Dancers

The fire dancer was very entertaining.

OUR LAST DAY IN O'AHU

On our last day we decided to rent a car and drive around the island since we spent most of the week hanging around the resort.
Wes chose a Mustang convertible, it was fun.
Does our car look like tourists??
We had to buckle in Samuel's suitcase because all our luggage wouldn't fit in the trunk. We got a giggle out of our backseat loaded with Samuel, suitcase, stroller and whatever else was left over.

Here is our sleeping boy...don't worry he has sunscreen on!
Me and 'my honey' along the beach somewhere on O'ahu.

These shots are just pictures taken from the car as we drove along enjoying the scenery. The island was so beautiful as we drove the coastline almost the entire time; God's beauty is amazing.

My handsome and accommodating chauffeur.

ONE LAST STOP AT THE BEACH

Our little wave runner.
Actually he really didn't care for the ocean unless he was holding onto his daddy...always safe in daddy's arms.
He just needed some water for his sand creation, so he braved the waves and actually came back without the watering can, go figure.

I think this is (was) probably a mission of some kind, it was really pretty.

gotta have my hands in the sand!

Our Last Photo in Hawaii.

The trip was wonderful and we made so many great memories.

I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband and sweet son;

God is good!
