H A W A I I - Day 1

Day 1 - Arrival in Hawaii
Our flight was a little over 6 hours, not too bad, Samuel was a little restless, but didn't cause any scenes to entertain our fellow traveling passengers...thank goodness.
This was the entrance to our hotel.

Tapa Tower - where we stayed

Samuel sniffin'

Well I'll just take this thing

There were waterfalls all around the resort, of course they caught our eyes, they were made of concrete!

some ducks splashin' in the water

There was an area with turtles and penguins, even parrots and flamingos. Walking around the resort was beautiful and peaceful. We felt very secluded even though the resort was huge and packed with people.

A QUICK DIP IN THE LAGOON

Once Samuel spotted the lagoon that was all he wanted to do. So Wes ate quickly, took him up to get his suit and hit the water. I don't know how we were even still awake, it was almost 11 pm at home....I guess it was all the excitement of vacation.
