Christmas at our house this year consisted of two sick kids. Samuel did not want to wake up, this picture was taken about 9 am and when asked if he wanted to go see what Santa had brought for him, he simply said; "no". Of course we didn't expect Lydia to be anxious to open presents, so she was still sleeping too. ;)
Once Samuel got up he checked out the stuff that Santa delivered: an art easel, a fire truck and Jenga. After that we had to go in shifts; he got tired in between so it took a few hours to open his gifts...I never thought I would have to beg my 3 year old to open presents on Christmas morning. We figured maybe he was on gift overload from his birthday which always seems to trickle for a few days.
Here is the loot that Lydia collected on her first Christmas.
Here is Samuel's loot.
This is the golf cart from Gramps & Grams, he absolutely loved it and I think we added a few dents to our walls...he hasn't figured out how to drive in reverse yet!
