Four Months...Already!?!

It is hard to believe that Lydia is FOUR MONTHS OLD...I honestly don't know where the days have gone, sounds a little cliche, but it is the truth.  It must be that she is #2 and I am busy (oh so busy) with #1 or that our schedule is always full with some activity or another.

I was able to snap a few shots with my 'little helper' as my assistant. I wanted to get a few pictures of Lydia in the beautiful Moses Basket that a friend made me when I had Samuel, I don't even know if I got his picture in it when he was a babe (oh me, oh my)...got some now, even though he is a little big for it ;)

Samuel absolutely adores Lydia, it melts my heart to see him interact with her. She just giggles as if he is the funniest person on earth...I'll let her believe that for now, she will figure out in her own time that he just isn't so funny sometimes.

I think she is just beautiful and she is the sweetest!! She smiles and giggles all the time. She does grunt when she it tired of something, like playing with her toys and she just grunts until someone picks her up...wish I could catch the sound to share for you, it would bring a smile to your face.

Can you see those eyebrows?? Oh it is so funny, she raises them for almost every expression she makes...little indents in her forehead and you can't see her actual eyebrows because they are so light, so all you get is the lines.....I love it!!

My Sweet Little Lady Bug

See...Samuel in the Moses Basket.
They are smiling at Daddy, he came home during our super fast photo shoot...but isn't everything super fast when you have a 3 year old and an infant...catch 'em while they're happy!

This is my favorite! Forget for just a minute that she is sitting on Samuel's head and look at those thighs!!! She eats well, can you tell?  Then look closely at Samuel. On this particular day he dressed himself; he chose a sleeveless (it's Feb.) basketball jersey, with warm-up pants... both were on backwards - what can I say he is 3 and he tried, at least he had clothes on, his newest phase is underwear only. He sheds his clothes as soon as he walks in the door.

This season in our life is keeping us on our toes, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! The house is a wreck, I'm not lying, come on over, you'll see for yourself...hey just being honest!! We play and play and play some more, cleaning can come later. (hmm, wonder how long Wes will tolerate that?)  :)
