Friends from the Start

I think it is awesome that my friend Brooke and I have babies just days apart! Brooke's little guy Tyler was born four days after Lydia. Brooke and I have been friends for a long time and I love that our kids are now playing together; not to mention that Christy (Wes' mom) and Cinda (Brooke's mom) have been close friends for years too. Brooke's little girl Emerson is 4 and her and Samuel get to play together often and now Lydia and Tyler will get to play together too.

Here are the first pictures of Lydia and Tyler Thompson together, with years of many more to come.

They are about 6 weeks old in this picture.

Butterfly Baby

Lydia looks like she is going to take flight. She sleeps with her little hands above her head, funny but Samuel did the same thing...hmmm, is that genetics??

She is adorable, but she is also a scowler, just look at her furrowed brow.

I love her hands, they are so precious. She has long fingers (unlike mine) and I love when she wraps them around mine.
