Talents of my Hubby

Here are my boys working hard on Memorial Day Weekend. Wes decided to work instead of rest...imagine that! He really wanted to get our waterfall finished and I am so glad he did.

Samuel was covered in concrete, but he really likes working with his daddy.
Wes did have his patience tested because he would build a rock and Samuel would step on it or rearrange it with his trowel. I must admit I did have to giggle because it was nice to see the roles reversed.
Here is the finished product. I realized I didn't turn it on when I took the pictures...ooops. So I guess I will have to update it later. But it looks gorgeous and he did a fabulous job on it! The things he has created from concrete amaze me, the Lord has blessed him with so much talent.

A Day of Golf with the Fam...

We went golfing as a family as a Memorial Golf Day for Cory.
We met in Glenns Ferry; golfed and had lunch together. It was a special way for us to remember Boomer, who we miss so much.

Wes, Richard, and Casey...I don't think any of them golfed very well, the course was a little rough.

The two guys I love most in this world. ;)

Samuel helping 'Pop-Pop' plan his putt.

If you are asking why he has such an ugly hat...when I bought it I thought it was cute. However, when he wears it he looks like Gilligan. He calls it his 'golf hat' and insists on wearing it when he golfs. I will admit I tried to 'lose' it, but he found it.

Casey...too cool for words.

Burkely...Just Too Cute!

The grounds keeper...oh no wait that's just Samuel.

Funny story: A few days after golfing Samuel discovered some sand toys that I had never opened and wanted to play with them. I told him we didn't have any sand; he told me 'go to golf course mommy, golf course has sand'. Do you think they would mind if I dropped him off the play in the sand?!?

SKATELAND

Yes, that is right SKATELAND!!

Our friends Jeff & Candi invited us to a "80's night" at Skateland and it was so fun. I just wish we would have dressed up or that I would have got a few pics of the ones that did. It was hilarious to see some of the 'old get up' (gotta love neon colors and spandex, leg warmers and BIG hair).
You can see Jeff sportin' a neon green headband and pegged pants.

This was Samuel's first attempt on the floor.

He caught on quickly and actually did better on his own
than holding on to our hand.

Little Man cruisin' the snack bar area.
For those of you who grew up in the Magic Valley;
Skateland hasn't changed in 20 years, no kidding.
