Early Morning FUN

Who doesn't enjoy waking up at 5:18 am on a Saturday morning??
Well when your two year old decides he wants to get up,
you get up, especially when he asks so sweetly...
"Mommy, play choo-choo trains?"
How could I say no, although I did try to get Daddy to go play so I could catch up on some much needed beauty rest ;)
So here are a few pictures of our early morning play time, which after he went back to sleep at 7:30 am gave me some time to post some blog updates...hey it all works out.

In and out of the toy box.

Hiding from "mommy kisses" under his train table. He giggles so hard when we play this that I can't help my self,
I just want to gobble him up!

Of course a little helmet time!

Drumming a song for Mommy.

Strike a pose.

Soaking at the Hot Baths

AaaHhhh...the HOT water....it was so relaxing to soak at the hot baths.

Samuel is quite certain that he is a fish so he soaked and soaked and soaked, until finally his mean parents made him get out and go home. He let the entire facility know that he did not want to go home and I'm sure they thought we were torturing the poor kid. Needless to say we didn't get any dirty looks from the other parents when we exited our room...probably because their kids were still swimming and they hadn't played "the bad guy" yet.

My good lookin' honey!

"Peek-a-boo mommy!"

Creative Finger Painting

A quick shot of the boys after Daddy's first time fingerpainting with Samuel. Wes just couldn't figure out why Samuel just wanted to smear his hands in the paint and then all over the paper....well he's TWO, that's why!

So painting on paper quickly turned into painting on faces. They both had a ball and this is their "silly face". Samuel is trying to stick his tongue out. :)

Look closely, he has a few blue teeth!

Tub Time with Uno

Here is Samuel taking a bath; joined by Uno, my brother's dog.

My mom was giving Samuel a bath and I heard this hysterical laughing, so I decided after a few minutes to go check it out.
I found Samuel giggling away; which only makes you giggle when they are laughing so hard.

Samuel was kicking in the water, making GIANT splashes (only Grams would allow) and Uno was jumping up trying to catch the falling water.
I tried desperately to snap a shot of Uno's attempts, but the best I could do was get him licking them off the side of the tub.

Uno...isn't he cute!?!

California & Cookie Lee

We went to California so I could attend Leadership Training for my Cookie Lee business. We decided to hit Disneyland and this is the one picture of the three of us, taken professionally of course by the outstretched arm of Wes.

We weren't that excited about Disneyland...by the time we actually got into the park it had been almost 3 hours from the time we arrived. We waited to park for an hour & a half, then we waited for the tram to take us over, then we waited in line for tickets. So by the time we got in Samuel was ready to go to sleep.

He rode a total of 3 rides...yes a whole three.
The carousel, Dumbo, and the train.
Then we decided to eat lunch and Samuel fell asleep before finishing his meal...three rides must be exhausting.

This was my favorite part of the park...after Samuel fell asleep we decided to stroll around and check everything else out (in case we ever want to go back-umm, don't think so).

We went into 'FrontierLand' and they were getting ready to start a skit. Wes got roped into participating...he was hilarious, since it isn't really his style to get up in front of a huge group of strangers and play "Love Connection" as bachelor #1. Sally Mae, the beautiful bachelorette is there in the pink dress and the gentleman next to 'her' is her daddy trying to GIVE her away.

Question #1 - If you were a wild animal on the range, what would you be?
Wes: "a buffalo"
Sally Mae: "Oh daddy, he must be strong."

Question #2: If you could sing her a love song, what would you sing?
Wes: (after a minute of pondering) "Always"
Sally Mae: "Oh daddy, heehee"
Her Daddy: "Careful #1, you might win."

Question #3: Let me hear your best pig call.
Wes: "Suuuueeeee!"
Sally Mae: "Oh my, what a man".

Unfortunately, bachechelor #3 won

(poor kid, but his answers were the best).

Here are John & Cookie at 'Camp Cookie',
the leadership training and catalog launch that I attended.
They are hilarious, just one of those cute couples. Cookie is the founder and chief designer for the jewelry I sell and John is her husband and the company's CEO. I didn't get any other pics from my camera because the battery died and I forgot the charger.

We also got to catch up with Taner, Jenny and the adorable Eli for dinner, but I have no pictures to share because my camera was unavailable...(hey jenny, maybe you can email me a few.)

This is Samuel when we got home and I was setting up for our Unit Meeting.
Is is wrong that he knows how to layer necklaces!?!
He loves Cookie Lee, this was his second 'cookie event' that he has attended with me...and I'm sure he is looking forward to convention in August!
