Family Fun

These are a few pictures snapped over the holidays

Christmas 2008

Here are a few pics from Christmas...
Wes taking Samuel and Burkely on a "sled" ride in the snow.

Burkely and Samuel opening gifts.

Gabe, Tyler, Samuel and Derek.

Samuel and his new football helmet...I think he owns every kind of helmet and he really does wear them daily and even wants to sleep with them on occasion.

CHOO! CHOO!...Samuel turns 2!

Samuel and the cutest grin around on his second birthday.
Here's the little Train Conductor...minus the hat, which he looked adorable in.

Samuel woke up to a HUGE tunnel that filled our living room and hallways.

He had so much fun crawling through his tunnels.

Wes set up Samuel's presents at the end of the tunnel, so when he finally reached the end he had a surprise waiting for him...he thought that was totally cool! (I'm talking about Wes)

Check out the "new stuff"...go Yankees!
He got a batting helmet (which I think he has worn everyday since) new bat & ball,
an 'official' Yankee jacket and of course a Derek Jeter glove.

Here are a couple of really cute conductors...only Samuel ditched his conductor hat and neckerchief after he got the cowboy hat from Pop-Pop.
This is Samuel totally embarrassed when everyone started singing Happy Birthday.

Richard (aka Pop-Pop) got volunteered to help open presents...
I am sure he enjoyed the swarm of children at his feet. ;)
The kids all got conductor hats & neckerchiefs for the party, by the time we got to the presents only a few were still sportin' them, but aren't they cute?
Why didn't I get a picture of them at the beginning? Good Question!

And the birthday boy relaxing in his new Wall-E chair after a long day of presents & goodies.
Lots of Love to each of you who celebrated Samuel's big day of 2 with him!

God's Beautiful Country

We took a quick trip to Island Park with my parents and saw some parts of the country we haven't seen before. It is nice to just sit back and take in the beautiful land God blessed us with.
This is Upper Mesa Falls, which is around Ashton, Idaho.

My boys

Always on the move!

Below is Lower Mesa Falls

On our quick trip through Yellowstone, we were quickly reminded of how beautiful God has made our country. I had been to Old Faithful; which is still amazing to watch. However, I had never been or even heard of Artist Point...it is absolutely gorgeous!
If you go to Yellowstone, you must see Artist Point!

It truly is breath taking.
